BACKGROUND

QFD is a methodical approach for attentively hearing the customer’s voice and then effectively responding to their needs and expectations.

QFD was introduced to the United States in the early 1980s after being first created in Japan in the late 1960s as a type of cause-and-effect analysis. It first became well-known due to significant achievements in the auto sector.

METHODOLOGY

Quality is determined by how satisfied customers are with a good or service in QFD. QFD is a structured approach that uses the seven management and planning tools to rapidly and efficiently identify and prioritise customers’ demands.

The QFD process begins with the first matrix, also known as the House of Quality, and then focuses on the most crucial characteristics or qualities of the product or service. These are made up of the musts, wants, and wows of the customer.
QFD distributes the attributes and qualities to the appropriate organizational function for action once you have prioritized them. QFD is the application of customer-driven attributes to an organization’s accountable functions. All the details have been explained in Quality HUB India Course program
